PixSnap is built by Amcon Ceylon. We care about privacy and have designed the product so that your images stay on your device. This policy explains what data the website and the browser extension do and don't collect.
The short version
- The PixSnap extension processes your images entirely on your device. Images you download, convert or upscale are never sent to us or any third party.
- The extension does not collect personal information, does not track your browsing, and has no analytics inside it.
- This website (pixsnap.live) uses cookies for basic analytics and, with your consent, to show ads through Google AdSense.
The PixSnap browser extension
What it accesses, and why
The extension requests only the permissions it needs to function:
- Access to the current page (activeTab, scripting) — to find images on the page you're viewing when you open PixSnap.
- Access to image URLs (host permissions) — to fetch the full-resolution version of an image you choose to download. This request goes directly from your browser to the image's host; it does not pass through us.
- Downloads — to save files to your computer.
- Storage — to remember your preferences, such as your default format and quality. These settings are stored by your browser (and may sync across your own devices via your browser account). They contain no personal data and are never sent to us.
What it does with your images
All fetching, format conversion and AI upscaling happen locally in your browser. The AI upscaling model is bundled inside the extension and runs on your device. Your images are never uploaded, stored, or transmitted to Amcon Ceylon or anyone else.
What it does not do
The extension does not create an account, does not require a login, does not collect analytics, does not track the pages you visit, and does not sell or share any data — because it doesn't collect any.

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic (for example, how many people visit a page). This uses cookies or similar technologies and does not identify you personally.

PixSnap is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
